"El Paso" found on the Texas Outlaws CD is your best yet. Marty Robbins would be proud. I think this may be the one that finally gets you the credit that is so long overdue. The Executive Surf Club music store is already out, SEND MORE!

THE FIRST TIME I HEARD YOUR MUSIC I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BERING SEA WITH THE U.S. COAST GUARD FREEZING MY TAIL OFF. MY MOTHER MAILED ME COMFORT IN THE CURVES. NOT ONLY DID IT WARM ME UP THINKING OF THE SOUTH TEXAS HEAT ,BUT ALSO MADE ME HOMESICK. I WAS BORN IN UVALDE AND MY FAMILY IS FROM CRYSTAL CITY. I AM BACK IN TEXAS AND JUST HEARD YOUR LATEST DRIVING DOWN THE BEACH. KEEP UP WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND DON'T CHANGE A THING.

I just wanted to say that I love the two albums I have of yours and cant wait to see you play again. I saw you at pour davids, but these silly boys wouldnt leave me alone so that I could sit and enjoy the show. You are truly one of my favorite artists.

Max, I can't wait to see you in concert for the first time. The last time you played at the Thirsty Armadillo I think I was working late and had to miss the show. Anyways, I really did not know much about you untill the last time you were on the front porch. Now I have two of your cds and am working on getting all of them. I think your songs are great, especially "Running Buddy," "I-35," and oh hell I could go on. Cant wait to hear you on the front porch this Sunday. Later, Andrew

Nothing gets me more emotional than a great singer like you, Max, bellowing out the National Anthem in front of 7,000 people at Olsen Field at Texas A&M. I am none prouder to be an American, an Aggie and a Max Stalling Fan. Keep singing, you never let us down. Let us know if you need anything around these parts! I have a few shirts left from the Red, White and Blue Out we had a few years ago for charity. Kourtney Rogers TAMU '03 (p.s. did you hear me yelling your name?? woohoo!)

I am a good friend of Mark's. He's the one in the ass-prop with wheels. I met you at southfork about 2 yrs ago, hell I still have pictures of you and Mark David with my wife. Wide afternoon is still my favorite song. We have a garage type band, and I sing several of your songs. one of these days I will get them down almost as good as you sing them. Great job!! BTW, you need to set up a date here in Arkansas. Everyone that I have turned on to you here loves your music. Later Bro Cody

My only regret about Friday night was attending only the second show. I don't know what I could have been thinking. I have learned my lesson . . . . the hard way. Next time, I will be there for both. Max, your music is the best, loved the new song and big thanks for the encore.

Max.. I missed your hometown show at Brush Country Days and found this sort of by accident. I have one of Toby's old left overs and never seem to be by Bea's (yes I know they changed the name) when they are open. I've been back in Carrizo Springs since 98. Max it does your old ag teacher real proud to know that you are doing well. Your songs are excellently crafted and speak to the heart. Call me when you come home. I'd love to see you. We are all proud of you. GIG'EM
