Excellent website. We saw Mr. Stalling at Bass Hall with REK and we were more impressed with him the Robert Earl! We bought a CD and Mr. Stalling signed it for us. We look forward to seeing him again. The Billy Bob's concert date is EXCITING!

Max, I met you at the concert sponsored by John Fitzgerald at Perretta Guitars. I bought one of your CDs there, and I have to say I've become a fan. When I tell people about you I say you are the next Willie Nelson! Keep up the good work, and I am going to be watching for you to come back to my neck of Texas.

Regards, Stan Milam

Max, You and Manders put on a great show Friday night at the clubhouse!!! Congratulations for playing at Bass Hall, also! Hopefully, you won't decide you are "too big" to play at the clubhouse again! We'll see you soon, Joni

Wow! Going through your guestbook is like a walk down memory lane! There are many names I recognized and that just brings back a flood of memories. It is really great to see a hometown boy making it! Puro Wildcats '88!

I was turned on to Max by my brother-in-law and have loved listening to his songs. It's very reminesent of the old days in Austin when Willie, Steve Fromholz, etc. were just beginning to break into the "progressive country" sound! Although I've just heard "Wide Afternoon" I'm very impressed with his sound!! I grew up in south Texas and relate to every song he sings!!

I really love "Scars and Souvenirs."

I really love "Scars and Souvenirs." My husband passed away last year and I find a lot of comfort in this song. Also, I really like "Blue Eyes." It is nice to know that someone has high enough morals to draw the line at blowing a friendship. Is Max going to be playing in the Houston or Corpus Christi area anytime in the near future? s
